Location and cleanliness

The room was clean but the pillows were rock hard and much too thick. The girl who welcomed us coughed in her hand then handed me my key card. She was clearly sick (sneezing, coughing, etc.) Now I dont know if I got it from her but two days later I came down with a fever and was so sick we had to shorten our stay and since my nights were paid for in advance, I lost some money. Didnt see anyone else who was sick, I always avoid sick people. Needless to say my Christmas holiday was ruined. The restaurant for breakfast, I have never in my life seen a place so understaffed. Nice (young) people but they had too much work to do. Also, my kids only ever eat peanut butter on their toast; there was no peanut butter, the entire time of our stay. The location of the hotel is very handy. Also, we didnt use those facilities but if we could have stayed as long as planned, we would have enjoyed the pool and the cinema!

I did enjoy my stay in this hotel, great looking hotel, friendly staff on my check in. The room was very nice, bathrooms are modern - I found the shower to be quite unsafe , no grip tiles in shower , and no rail in shower in case youre about to slip. The towels and sheets DID NOT smell like theyre overloaded with Javel, which is great. I had the King room , and unfortunately the mattress to my taste was very spring filled like feeling it was very rough and not very comfortable. Well, what can I say. I have to get to the annoying part right ? At 8:15am the cleaning lady barges into my room - luckily I have the habit of latching the door. But why would you open a clients door NOT knowing if theyre checked out yet. I mean. For all you know - Im doing push-ups but naked right in-front of the door. Irrelevant of what the customer is doing- always walkietalkie to front desk asking if room 416 was checked out and I can proceed with cleanup. I mean, I bet the cleaning the lady was quite ashamed when I barked at her from my bed. Thanks for taking the time reading this morning rant :) Alex

Very comfy bed and roomy. It has everything for a 4 star hotel. Centrally lcoated

The location of the hotel is good, but there aren't many things to see around.

We asked about the breakfast and we were told that we had to take it in the restaurant Pacini. Was the breakfast included with our room rate? If it was we missed out.

Great, comfortable and modern furnished room (standard 2 queen beds) Super clean. Nice view of the rapids. Best location in town with several restaurants a few steps away, including the Pacini in the ground floor, and a bakery and ice-cream shop in front. Because of covid-19 (aug 2020) there was no room service and we loved it! You dont have to worry about where you leave your stuff. There were extra towels and you could ask for more coffee or soap but we were ok for a whole week. We also liked the terrasse adjacent to the pool; the water of the pool though needed some more filtering.
